Benefits of Massage


Stroking massage movements flush out the waste products from the body and dilates the blood vessels so that the oxygen and nutrients flow more quickly. Massage release the tension as it stretches muscles and improves the flexibility. Having a massage with in 24 hrs after an intense work out can soothe muscles and enhance recovery.

I've never been able to feel comfortable about getting a massage. The thought of a stranger putting their hands on me is too much. I guess I'm just way too old fashioned. I never have liked everything that is good for me. I think yoga can accomplish the same feelings.
